I've been out to the Amalfi coast a few times now, but it always takes my breath away when you first see the views of the coastline from high up in the hills. Emma and John chose to get married at the grand church in the central square, before a walk up to Villa Eva with it's incredible position overlooking the sea. I really enjoy being a Ravello wedding photographer; any wedding where I can start the morning off with great coffee and pastries in the sun before getting my gear together is a winner in my eyes!
The day itself had a really happy feel with lots of family and friends making the trip to share their special day, and the great atmosphere carried right on into the night with some excellent speeches and a killer dance party! Thanks for making us feel so welcome guys, and we loved sharing all the pictures with you!
2012 was an incredible year. I got to work with some amazing people at beautiful locations all over the UK and around the world. I was also really pleased to finish the year with several new awards from Fearless Photographers, making us one of the best wedding photographers in the UK according to their site.
I could say something about each and every couple I had the pleasure to work with, but instead I'll just show some photos!
love this moment between Anna and her friends just before we headed off to the church.
Lara and her mum having a moment before the bedecking ceremony.
Keren heading down the stairs at Great Fosters, on her way to the church.
A funny shot from Lara & Jonny's wedding, taken in the morning.
The church at Lonato on Lake Garda was one of the most stunning buildings I've ever set foot in. Lauren and her Dad had a long way to walk!
Sophie and Matt coming out of the church in Amersham, love their expressions!
Happy faces on Matthew and Gemma after their wedding in the church at Windsor's great park. The Queen's church no less!
Possibly the funniest moment I've shot all year; the sign is perfect!
funny speeches are always a highlight!
Named one of the best wedding photographers in the UK
Well this has been a long time coming (very much behind on my blogging this year!), but I had an amazing time back in June out in Lake Garda with Joe and Lauren. Everyone was extremely welcoming, and my love of shooting in Italy several times each year was seriously reinforced after this fun weekend in the sun! So much so, Marie and I returned just a couple of weeks later to the same spot for some holiday time, and we had an amazing trip exploring the small towns of Sirmione, Garda and Bardolino. Joe and Lauren, thank you so much for bringing me out to Lake Garda for your wedding, there's a reason I was there still shooting at 2am... you're great people with great friends and I had a blast making photographs for you :)
