It’s been a while since I blogged, as I’ve been travelling extensively in 2013 with lots of amazing destination weddings to share soon!
So first things first, Maria and Nick got married in Marrakech in May, with a little help from their very cute little son Sam! I’d visited Marrakech once before, but not for a wedding and getting to spend time in the beautiful Riad Charai in the heart of the old city was incredible. It’s such a contrast from the busy streets to be inside a classic Moroccan Riad and it’s the perfect setting for an intimate wedding. I know Maria through the photography world alreday as she is a wedding photographer herself and I was very humbled when she asked me to capture her special day.
For some portraits we took the time in the evening to head over to the Jardin Majorelle, which is an incredible house owned by Yves Saint Laurent, full of amazing coloured walls and crazy plants – the perfect backdrop for Marrakech wedding photos. I had a lot of fun on this day as I hope you’ll see and here are just a small collection of photos from this very special wedding…
Breathtaking images Mike, and congratulations Nick and Maria!
Mike It’s Nice Pictures. It’s a good step to take the relationship ahead by getting married. Nike and Maria wish you very happy married life.
Beautiful photos! Agreed some incredible colours! Those couple of pictures with that blue wall are just insane! Absolutely beautiful – keep up the good work! 🙂
A gorgeous set of images, great colours. Keep up the great work. Steve & Sandra.
Hey Mike awesome and creative shoot in the wedding. Really lovely moments that you have captures through your lens. I loved the smoke picture of Nike. God bless you both and keep smiling. Thanks Mike for sharing their best moments in life with us.
Nick & Maria makes a very good pair. Mike, your idea was simply superb, wedding rings on the leaf greatly highlights the specialty of ring on wedding. Cute little boy on Maria’s hand was another highlight.
Some absolutely stunning photography! Love the picture of the rings, it’s all in the details!
