It’s official, I now love Greek weddings!  One of my favourite things to photograph these days at weddings are the nigh-time celebrations, and with all the traditional dancing that goes with a Greek wedding, this really was a whole lot of fun.  Matt & Maria are a really lovely couple and it was a pleasure to shoot them and their friends and family until the small hours!

At first we photographed Maria’s Stolisma which was a really joyful and emotional custom, where the Kapnistiri takes place.  It was lovely to see all the family so close and involved.  Then after the church we headed off to Oakwood House in Kent, which is a lovely country house wedding venue. In the evening the party really got going with all the traditional greek wedding dancing you can expect. What a fabulous day, thanks Matt and Maria for having us along to capture everything.
