When Teresa got in touch from Chicago explaining they were getting married in Sorrento, (one of my favourite places in the world), I was delighted to see I was free. One lovely FaceTime call later, the flights were booked and the adventure began!

I’ve shot all over Italy, but this was my first wedding in the heart of Sorrento. We had an amazing time exploring the cloisters in the downtown area.  The ceremony and reception venue – Villa Antiche Mura – had the most incredible setting overlooking the Bay of Naples. I couldn’t wait to put the drone in the air for a few scenic shots early in the morning.

The Aperol was flowing after the ceremony and we had to pinch ourselves when the sun set over the sea during the speeches. Check out the pictures below for that.

Thanks to Ryan and Ben for joining me again to film and second shoot… always a great team!  We’re all heading back to photograph another Villa Antiche Mura wedding soon in fact, and I can’t wait!  But of course thank you Teresa & Brian for bringing us out to share your wedding with us and for being so awesome to work with… an unforgettable weekend!

The ceremony location is one of the best I know of on the Amalfi Coast… those views are just epic! And a big thank you to the wedding team at Villa Antiche Mura for showing us around the day before and helping us prep some ideas for different angles during the wedding ceremony. I just love all the cute touches Brian and Theresa brought into their ceremony.
