North Norfolk is somewhere I visit regularly with the family. We really love the amazing beaches, great places to eat and picturesque coastal villages. So I was delighted to get to photograph a truly wonderful day for Jane & Barney at Holkham. The girls used the nearby Vine House from The Hoste in Burnham Market to get ready in, followed by a church ceremony in the village. It was the perfect setting and with the guests all walking from The Hoste to the church it created a lovely feel to the day. Gathering on the village green afterwards was lovely touch too. Then it was off to the main event, my first experience as a Holkham Hall wedding photographer.
Holkham only hosts a limited number of weddings each year, so I was very privileged to capture this one. The tour around the grounds to some of the amazing features was fantastic. The marquee setting for the reception allows for a great party atmosphere well into the night time, one of the parts of the day I love to stay and capture!
Jane & Barney’s party in the evening was super fun. They had an amazing band and all the guests really threw themselves into the spirit of the night. I think I left around midnight and the party was still going!
