When Natasha & Tino first got in touch about their Cap Rocat wedding, I hadn’t yet seen the hotel. When I looked it up I started grinning from ear to ear, thinking of all the amazing photo opportunities. With an amazing location right on the sea, Cap Rocat is just perfect for luxury, exclusive use weddings.
As you may know I shoot a lot of destination weddings, but hadn’t yet travelled to Mallorca for one. As soon as I landed and got to the hotel I was off exploring great spots for the best photos. We were soon heading into Palma for a warm-up party at Es Baluard Art Museum. It’s a really lovely spot for a welcome reception with an amazing courtyard. Definitely one to check out if you’re visiting Palma.
The morning of the wedding was super relaxed. I shot pretty scenics and details and then joined Natasha and her bridesmaids while they got ready, and had a really fun afternoons as you can see below.
Romantic ceremony in the Courtyard
After Tino had finished getting ready, the boys strolled down to the main courtyard to make their entrance. The guests – all staying at Cap Rocat – had gathered and soon we were waiting on Natasha’s big entrance. She looked incredible as she walked in with her proud Dad, and joined Tino at the front. It was such a warm ceremony filled with lovely touches and lots of laughter.
Cap Rocat Wedding Photographer
With these views you can’t fail to make some amazing shots. We just had time before sunset to grab some gorgeous pictures, but had to work quickly with the light almost gone! N&T were absolute starts and headed over onto the bridge to make that really iconic shot with the sea behind them. And then we made our way back onto the ramparts for a great reception before the party got really started!
I think I shot until 3am that night, and we had such a great time.. photographing weddings really doesn’t feel like work. Drop me a line if you’re planning a Cap Rocat wedding and are looking for a photographer to capture the weekend for you!
