From the moment you enter the grounds you can’t help but be amazed by the sheer size of the Palace and it’s perfectly manicured gardens. Receptions in the Orangery look out onto wonderful gardens and the Great Hall offers a room fit for the grandest occasion.
There’s only one way to travel around the grounds to achieve those epic portraits looking back to the Palace. All aboard the buggy! It’s a really fun way to zip around, and gets you back to the party in no time at all. Shots by lake or from the bridge are some of the best spots, or by the Water Terrace in the early evening is a wonderful place to shoot too.
As a Blenheim Palace wedding photographer I really enjoy the mix of the grand buildings, and the vast gardens to make pictures in. My typical collections from shooting at Blenheim Palace are 500-700 images, with a real mix of documentary and portraits.
