I had the great pleasure to head out to the south west of Ireland for a wonderful weekend in Killarney. The Europe Hotel is set on the banks of the beautiful Lough Leane, a breathtaking location for a wedding. As a Europe Hotel wedding photographer I think it’s the best wedding venue in Kerry.
Stacy and Eileen live in England but have family from Killarney so decided they’d love to head to this spectacular corner of the world for an amazing weekend of celebrations. We were treated to beautiful sunshine, Irish dancing and great craic LONG into the night! I think we finished shooting around 2am, but it was totally worth it and we loved flying home the next day with tired legs but full hearts 🙂

Europe Hotel wedding photographer in Killarney
This venue has incredible locations for all kinds of pictures. Either down by the lake (above), or around the inside of the hotel and eve the Spa at night (see below). I think we were truly blessed with the weather for this wedding in particular, this corner of Ireland is famed for more than it’s fair share of rain, but we arrived to three days of sunny days and balmy evenings… amazing luck for Stacy and Eileen!
Fireworks was such an amazing way to top off the main part of the wedding celebrations, before the dance floor filled, and then never emptied! We were treated to the Groom, Stacy, playing guitar on stage, a great folk band and amazing DJ entertaining us until the small hours.
