Georgie and Eddie had the most spectacular wedding at the Hotel Caruso in Ravello, Italy last summer.  I’ve photographed several weddings in Ravello before, and it has definitely become my most favourite place to shoot over the years.  The gorgeous backdrops, the perfect light, the amazing venues… what’s not to love?! Although I’ve shot in Ravello lots, I’d yet to tick off my first Hotel Caruso wedding photographer gig. And it did not disappoint!

The Hotel Caruso, with it’s iconic infinity pool and gorgeous backdrop of the Amalfi coast, is a sight to behold. The portraits at sunset were to die for!  Georgie and Eddie are the sweetest people, so warm and inviting and with their beautiful kids are the perfect family. It was a real pleasure to document such a special day for them and their friends.

Thank you to my great friend Kate McElwee for co-shooting this one with me and a number of the photos below came from her talented eye. I think it’s the third time we’ve gotten to shoot together and I look forward to making it over to New England to return the favour soon!  Thank you also to Catherine and the team at The Amalfi Experience for putting together such an amazing and stylish event for everyone.  I’m due back to the Amalfi coast to be a Hotel Caruso wedding photographer once again this summer… can’t wait!

The build up to the wedding ceremomy is always such an exciting moment in Ravello. From the Hotel Caruso, you walk a couple of hundred metres downhill to the square and church, with the crowds clapping as the bride passes by. Everyone arrives with such big smiles!

This reception location is simply stunning. What could be better than enjoying a cocktail or Aperol in the sun, taking in those epic views?! And as the sun sets it’s time to make a few last portraits to treasure forever.
