Nothing makes me happier than packing up my camera bags and jumping on a flight to capture a fun-filled weekend in a spectacular location.  There’s a real difference to a destination wedding… of course the scenery is always going to be epic, but I think it’s more about the excitement everyone brings with them for a long weekend together. What better way to celebrate the most special time in your life, than by jetting off to an incredible location and making it the background to your celebrations.  Being a destination wedding photographer is all about trying to get a feel of the location into the pictures. as much as possible. I love the extra time I get to meet all your friends and family over the weekend too… it really helps make for better photos.

Typically I’ll be shooting as soon as I arrive a day or two beforehand. Capturing the landscape and any pre-parties you might be having before the wedding day itself.  As a destination wedding photographer my job is exactly that, to show off the destination too.
