James & Caroline are a wonderful couple and their adventurous nature and links to the south of France meant the Mas de la Rose in Provence was the perfect choice as a venue. As an experienced Domaine de la Rose wedding photographer, and becuase we’d met at one of their friends weddings the previous year, I was delighted when they asked me to come and shoot the weekend for them.

Pure country chic is the only way to describe the visual feast we were lucky to photograph, with stunning details and an incredible dress to make the task a lot easier!  We really wanted to shoot in the stunning Provence poppy fields, so we headed just around the corner from the Chateau and found exactly that and so much more. Back at Domaine de la Rose the guests were enjoying some wonderful cocktails and canapes… what else would you expect from a Provence wedding!

After we got back from the fields, we headed straight for a sumptuous 6 course dinner, topped off by songs written just for the big day. I shoot in Europe regularly, but this was one of the most fun wedding weekends I’ve shot in a while, with a great dance party that went on long into the night.
