2013 was an amazing year for me, with 25 weddings spread across 10 countries. And there was no better way to round it off than with this 3-day Ibiza wedding celebration!
Accompanied by my good friend (and amazing photographer) Ryan Jones, we shot for what felt like 48 straight hours. Shina, Sam and their friends and family partied hard and loved every minute of their special weekend. Shina & Sam are so warm and welcoming, and more importantly, they love to party! So it wasn’t a surprise that nearly 200 friends came to join them on the white island, for a fiesta not to be forgotten. From an open-air hotel suite to get ready in, to a beach party to finish I was treated to some stunning venues to photograph in.
Atzaro was a stunning backdrop for the wedding day, and the poolside ceremony as the sun was setting was breathtaking. The party the night before was held at Sacca with some of the best canapés I’ve ever seen and an awesome DJ to get the weekend going. The beach party just hours after the wedding finished on the Sunday was hosted at El Chiringuito. I’d visited before and it really is the perfect wind-down before catching a flight home. All simply amazing venues. And finally, hats off to Reel Vision and Alejandro from Real & Short Films for making an incredible film from this weekend and just being great guys to work with. You all made one very happy persian wedding photographer 🙂
