I’ve known Kat for a long time and have photographed her many times as a model, so this was a slightly surreal shoot for me! Kat & Gary chose the island of Ibiza for their celebration and wanted an Elixir wedding photographer with experience, so it was the perfect fit. The ceremony was at a beautiful church in a hilltop village before moving to the stunning setting of Elixir Shore Club with it’s amazing views and access down to the beach. Elixir really suits K&G perfectly with it’s sunshine and party atmosphere.
The reception was one of those perfect Ibiza evenings, everyone enjoying drinks in the late sun, and we headed down to the beach to take some great shots of the happy couple. Before you know it we had impromptu musical performances from friends and family, with Kat’s Dad stealing the show with his comedy song of her life to date… epic!
They came, they married and they danced the night away… what an amazing few days in one of the best places on earth to get married. Congratulations Kat & Gary!
Elixir wedding photographer
I’m regularly in Ibiza, and weddings at Elixir are just so perfect for this island. I just love how laidback everything is here, and with all the pretty decor touches we’re truly spoiled for photo opportunities. Being able to hop down to the almost private beach at sunset is amazing, and the warm evenings lead to a great dancing atmosphere. A big thumbs up for Elixir weddings in Ibiza from me!
