lifting the veil before ceremony

I just loved Sophie and Ben’s outside chuppah at Stapleford Park in Leicestershire. They were joined by loads of their dear family and close friends and of course Teddy, their Bernese mountain dog! Although I’m an experienced Stapleford Park wedding photographer, this wedding had loads of really unique touches. And we totally had the weather to fit such a great venue.

It was a day of gorgeous sunshine, wonderful emotions and a great party all night long. Ben runs the family business as a jeweller, so no surprises where Sophie’s stunning jewellery and wedding rings came from. With lots of actors on Sophie’s side the speeches and ‘performances’ were so funny and got everyone on their feet with huge applause!

Stapleford is an amazing setting and particularly so for Jewish weddings. You can really take advantage of the amazing gardens for an outdoor ceremony.  Thanks to my good friend Pete for shooting with me on this one.

JEWISH WEDDING PHOTOS AT STAPLEFORD PARK

The walk to the ceremony is just amazing at Stapleford Park. I love that you can actually see all the guests arriving and taking their seat from the windows in the bridal suite. And that walk down the huge staircase to get married is great for a photo too! Sophie and Ben were blessed to have an outside wedding ceremony as the weather was just perfect. The Chuppah was so gorgeous and the photos of Ben seeing Sophie for the first time and lifting her veil are some of my favourites from the day.
