What an amazing weekend this was. I had the great pleasure to shoot for Marc & Karima recently, for their wonderful 3-day wedding at the Hotel Beldi in Marrakech. The Hotel Beldi is an incredible venue just outside of the walled city of Marrakech, an absolute oasis in the desssert!

After flying in we had time to capture some lovely scenics and get acquainted with the wedding plans. But we couldn’t wait to get to El Fenn that evening for the welcome party. It’s so lovely to shoot a laidback event like this leading into the main wedding day. It gives us a chance to really get to know everyone so we fit right in on the big day. As a Hotel Beldi wedding photographer our job is made a lot easier by all the amazing details the hotel offers… the pools, the flower gardens, the conservatory, this place has everything!

WEDDING PORTRAITS AT HOTEL BELDI

I can’t think of a better place to make vibrant, textured, romantic wedding photos with the wedding couple. Any wedding photographer walking around the grounds would get super excited with everything the Hotel has to offer. Marc and Karima were great fun when we slipped away from the party to capture some gorgeous shots of them both. Here are just a few of the best:

As I’ve learned from shooting a few weddings in Marrakech, the night time is where it’s at! Dance parties with colour, energy and laughter are the norm and M&K’s wedding party was no exception. I just loved it when they were carried in by the traditional Moroccan musicians, drumming as loud as they could.

What better way to round off a Hotel Beldi wedding than with a pool party the day after. The food at the hotel was truly superb the entire weekend and we had a great banquet on Sunday. It was so much fun messing around in the pool with all the friends and family, capturing some laid back images to round off a great weekend.
